2026-05-13 — Lint follow-up: filled in high-mention concept pages
After the initial lint pass surfaced 18 named entities mentioned in two or more pages without their own page, created the six highest-leverage ones and resolved the one unresolved wiki-link.
Pages created:
- sights-by-rating — resolves the previously broken
[[sights-by-rating]]link from source-barcelona-overview - block-of-discord — referenced from 7 pages
- caixaforum — referenced from 6 pages
- sitges — referenced from 6 pages
- casa-amatller — referenced from 5 pages
- fundacio-joan-miro — referenced from 5 pages
Existing pages updated to convert plain-text mentions into wiki-links and to add the new pages to the relevant “Related pages” sections: source-barcelona-overview, source-spain-festivals, barcelona-itinerary, barcelona-festivals, la-merce, day-trips-from-barcelona, modernisme, eixample, casa-batllo, montjuic, catalan-art-museum, tickets-and-reservations.
Still deferred to a real pre-trip pass (from the lint report):
- Lower-mention concept pages (Magic Fountains, Palau Güell, Gaudí Exhibition Center, Santa Caterina, Santa Maria del Mar, La Boqueria, Frederic Marès, Barcelona History Museum, Maritime Museum, Tarjeta Dorada, plus the individual Montserrat / Figueres / Cadaqués pages — covered inline by day-trips-from-barcelona for now).
- Single-source verification: June 10, 2026 Sagrada Família centenary; La Mercè exact dates; Park Güell ticketing details.
2026-05-13 — Initial ingest of all raw/ sources
Ingested all seven raw source files into the wiki. Created the initial index, log, source-summary pages, and the first round of concept pages.
Sources ingested:

Concept pages created:
Sights — sagrada-familia, la-pedrera, casa-batllo, park-guell, picasso-museum, palace-of-catalan-music, catalan-art-museum, barcelona-cathedral, ramblas
Districts — barri-gotic, el-born, eixample, montjuic, barceloneta
People and movements — antoni-gaudi (with the June 10, 2026 centenary called out), modernisme, catalan-culture
Logistics — barcelona-itinerary, spain-trains, tickets-and-reservations, closures-and-monday-problem, day-trips-from-barcelona
Calendar — barcelona-festivals, la-merce, gracia-festival, sant-jordi, sant-joan
Notable findings surfaced during ingest:
- June 10, 2026 — Gaudí centenary commemoration mass and the blessing/inauguration of the Tower of Jesus Christ at the Sagrada Família. Sourced only from the official Sagrada Família calendar; reconfirm before trip planning.
- The “guidebook updates” source is mostly a pre-trip checkpoint pointer; treat anything time-sensitive in the wiki as superseded by a check of that URL shortly before departure.
- Renfe rejects US credit cards chronically but takes PayPal — flagged for anyone buying advance train tickets.
- Monday closures at most top sights spill crowds onto Tuesday and Sunday — captured in closures-and-monday-problem.
